    How to use

    1. Prep — cleanse and numb

Cleanse the treatment area with a non-foaming, fragrance-free cleanser. Pat dry. For depths of 1.0 mm or greater, apply a topical lidocaine 4–5% cream and wait 20–30 minutes before wiping clean with alcohol.

    2. Depth selection

Match depth to indication. 0.25–0.5 mm for surface renewal and topical absorption. 0.5–1.0 mm for general tone and texture. 1.0–1.5 mm for scarring, stretch marks, or scalp use. Start one step below your target for your first session.

    3. Technique

Hold the device perpendicular to the skin. Move in even, overlapping passes: horizontal, vertical, then diagonal across each treatment zone. Apply light, consistent pressure — the device does the work. Pinpoint erythema or light bleeding at deeper settings is expected and indicates correct depth.

    4. Aftercare

Apply only products formulated for compromised skin: hyaluronic acid, peptide serums, growth-factor serums, or saline. Avoid retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, low-pH vitamin C, essential oils, and fragrance for at least 24 hours. Use SPF 30+ during the following week; treated skin is photosensitive.

    5. Cleaning and cartridge disposal

Cartridges are single-use. Release the used cartridge directly into a sharps container without handling the needle tips. Wipe the device body with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow to air dry before storage.

    Safety & contraindications

    Contraindications

Do not use on: active acne flares, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area, active cold sores or herpes simplex, bacterial or fungal skin infection, any skin cancer or undiagnosed lesion. Do not use if you have a history of keloid scarring, uncontrolled diabetes, are currently on anticoagulant therapy, or are pregnant. If you are on isotretinoin (Accutane) or have been within the previous six months, wait for clearance from your prescriber.

    Expected side effects

Erythema (redness) is normal and typically resolves within 12–48 hours. Mild swelling, tightness, and pinpoint bleeding at deeper depths are expected. Temporary increased skin sensitivity during the week after treatment is normal.

When to stop and consult a dermatologist

Stop use and consult a clinician if you experience: redness or swelling persisting beyond 72 hours, frank bleeding that does not resolve, signs of infection (pus, warmth, spreading redness, fever), blistering, or severe pain. Persistent hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation following treatment also warrants clinical evaluation.

    Documented protocol

Sample protocol on customer-submitted photos. Same lighting, same distance, same week-numbered interval. Individual response varies with skin type, indication, and adherence.
