About Folliqen
Folliqen sells one product: an LED face mask for a 10-minute routine at home. This page explains how we describe it, and why the description is shorter than most.
One product
We sell a single mask so that every page on this site can be specific about it. Its wavelengths are red 620–630 nm, green 520–525 nm, blue 440–465 nm and near-infrared 850 nm. It has 60 LEDs and these modes: red, near-infrared, blue, green, yellow, purple, cyan and white. A session lasts 10 minutes, and the mask switches itself off after the time you set (10, 20 or 30 minutes).
Those figures come from the manufacturer's specification for this model. If a figure is not on the product page, we have not verified it, and we do not state it.
How we describe it
An LED mask is a light source you wear for a few minutes with your eyes closed. We describe what the light is, what each mode is designed for and how the routine works. The mode guide sets out each wavelength. The usage instructions set out each step.
We describe the effect in terms of appearance only: smoother-looking skin, a more even-looking tone, a more rested look. We do not promise a result or a timeline. Results vary from person to person and depend on regular use. Some people notice little, and we would rather say so here than after you have bought it.
What we don't say
You will not find the following on this site. The reason is the same for each: we cannot back it.
- Medical claims. The mask is not sold for any skin condition or medical purpose. For a skin condition, see a dermatologist.
- Regulatory claims. We do not describe the mask as approved or cleared by any health regulator.
- Endorsements. No review counts, star ratings, testimonials or "recommended by" lines.
- Before-and-after photos. Lighting, angle and time of day change how skin looks more than most products do. A comparison photo mostly measures the lamp.
- Urgency. No countdowns and no "only a few left". The price is the price.
What it is, and what it isn't
It is a routine, not a procedure. Professional LED panels are typically higher powered. A home mask trades that power for something a clinic cannot offer: regular use, at home, on your schedule.
It does not replace sunscreen, a skincare routine or a dermatologist. It sits alongside them. Where it fits is covered in where an LED mask fits in your routine.
Safety on every page
Keep your eyes closed for the whole session and wear the included eye protection. Do not look into the LEDs, including when the mask is switched on and off your face. Stop if you feel discomfort, heat or eye strain, or get a headache.
Some people should ask a doctor before using any LED mask, including anyone who is pregnant, has epilepsy or a condition that makes them sensitive to light, or takes medication that increases sensitivity to light. The full list is on the safety page. The mask is not for use by children.
Delivery and the guarantee
We ship to the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and every EU country. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and usually arrive within 7–15 business days after dispatch. That is longer than many online orders, and the shipping policy explains why.
You have 30 days from delivery to decide whether the mask is for you. If it isn't, tell us and we refund you. The terms are in the refund policy.
